3. Upcoming mission and plans for 2018
Make Men Smile® is announcing its surgical mission to Cap Haitien, Haiti in December 2018. It is a joint mission supported by Medical Volunteers International (MVI). our team will be providing free medical and surgical care to needy patients. The common surgeries include hydrocele surgery, inguinal hernia repair, breast sugery, vasectomy and other office procedures. We will establish a basic surgical unit system and set up the pre-op, intra-op and post-op logistics.
In the mean time, we will be continuing to provide training to our partners in Haiti in the surgeries, office procedures and general medicine to make them self sufficient.
On another initiative, we explore the possibility of establishing a surgical center in Cap Haitien, so Make Men Smile® Program can sustain its surgical operation in the long term.
